Is a younger woman/older man combination more likely to work than an older woman/younger man combination?

I'm guessing an Older Man/Younger Woman combo works better in the majority since that would be more culturally accepted. Of course there are very public relationships that are the opposite like Aston Kutcher and Demi Moore, but I'm making a total guess when I say that's the minority out there.
